I just went to NYC on a weekend during the offseason (Feb) and paid $150/night for a hotel just off of Times Square. That price was a coup. Any Manhattan hotel in the summer will like be twice that amount (or more). I challenge anybody to find "normal" accommodations for cheaper prices in NYC.
