Leave your kids with grandma or other relative, if you really want to travel. Taking them with you won’t make them good, neither the plane passengers

Nice episode! It’s nice to hear some good travel tips with kids other than just “don’t bring them.” I don’t have kids yet and this made me much less scared about having kids and traveling… many people just tell you your traveling life is over for the next several years. I’ve already recommended to a couple friends with kids (who are scared to travel with their kids) and the Debbie’s website. Chris- how come this episode (and 141) don’t show up on the episode’s page? I wanted to send a link for a friend without an ipod/itunes to listen… Tx, Becky

They did not show up because I do that manually and have been out of town the last two weekends and had not gotten around to it yet. I have them there now. Thanks for the reminder.

I think those are some great tips from the Amateur Traveler, but I must agree with Journeyetc, traveling without kids sometimes is the true vacation!

I think kids should be taken at trips by their parents. But at the age, when they start understating every thing.
