I've stayed in expensive and inexpensive hotels/motels, and I know there are big differences - just never thought of what, exactly.One thing you may find in a more expensive hotel room is a safe, and of course the quality of the bed and bed linens differs hugely. Also, many of the more expensive hotels don't have a complimentary breakfast of any kind. At a Motel 6 or Best Western, I'm at least grateful for the free coffee and danishes! Very interesting post!
