Airports say no to sexy Pamela Anderson PETA commercial
PETA – the organization that fights for animal rights, is in the news again. This time, it is because one of their commercials has been banned from airport TV’s. The animal rights fighters created a TV spot featuring Pamela Anderson, with the purpose of trying to convince people not to wear animal products. Their message is that “Cruelty doesn’t fly”, and that wearing skins, fur, leather or wool is not OK.
I think think theme cruises are a great idea… not that I want to take this cruise.
Sexually-charged ‘cougar cruise’ on deck for Carnival ship
Los Gatos, Calif.-based Singles Travel Company and singles group The Society of Single Professionals are co-sponsoring the three-night escapade aboard a Carnival ship, which is aimed at older woman who pursue younger men — or “cougars,” in contemporary lingo.
No funny remark about this one because it is a serious subject. Is this story a case of cultural differences or sexual molestation?
Italian tourist arrested in Rio for kissing daughter
An Italian tourist arrested in Brazil after being accused of publicly molesting his eight-year-old daughter has been put under police guard in hospital after falling ill when a judge rejected his plea for bail.
The 48-year-old entrepreneur, who has not been named, was arrested last Tuesday at a seaside resort in the north-eastern city of Fortaleza after bystanders told police he had been seen kissing and “caressing” the girl.

Last Friday we posted a YouTube video of a Danish woman claiming to be looking for the father of her child. Goes the story: the pair met one balmy Danish evening in Copenhagen, had the sex, and 1.5 years later the mom (Karen, 27) said she just felt the father should know. We, like many others, recognized it was probably fake (and we noted it was possibly for Danish tourism) and then poof, word broke that that’s exactly what it was. It’s a project for Visit Denmark, apparently from Grey.

Pigeon transmits data faster than leading South African internet provider
Unlimited IT, so exasperated by South Africa’s leading supplier of slow internet connectivity that it pitted a Telkom ADSL line against a real-live homing pigeon in a 60-mile data transmission race. The pigeon arrived with the 4GB memory stick in just over an hour with another hour required to load the data onto the computer. As for Telkom? Well, after 2 hours it had barely reached 4%.
If God has really started to tell people to hijack planes we are in trouble.
Mexico Hijacking Ends After God-Inspired Suspect Is Detained
Mexican police stormed an airplane hijacked by a Bolivian man who claimed he was driven by “divine revelation,” ending a standoff more than an hour after the Aeromexico jet landed at Mexico City’s international airport.
In case you did not already know it, standing on train tracks to take a picture is dumb… and potentially fatal.

An Asian tourist was decapitated when he was hit by a train as he stood on a rail track to take pictures in southern Austria.
