Antelope Canyon – Travel Wallpaper – November 2009

If you think you have seen a picture of Antelope Canyon on my site before you are probably correct as it is one of my favorite spots to shoot pictures in the world. It is a slot canyon on the Navajo reservation just outside Page, Arizona. If you have seen pictures of slot canyons from the American Southwest then chances are you have seen pictures of Antelope canyon. There are actually two different parts of the canyon run by two different groups. Upper Antelope canyon is reached via a bumpy ride in a truck and there are many tours that go there. Lower Antelope canyon is across the road and is run by a family. You have to clamber down into a 3 foot wide crack in the ground. This shot is from Lower Antelope canyon.
