What’s wrong with this picture? This is the front door to a restaurant in Santorini. But where is the restaurant? Because the towns on Santorini are often built on cliffs this door leads to stairs down to the restaurant.This is a surprisingly common sight on the island as the picture below will attest to.

Oh I go to Santorini in May and I will LOOK for this beautiful door. Wish you shared more of your story in the restaurant and more photos!!

I can’t comment on the restaurant, we had most of our meals where we stayed in Akrotiri

Nice photo! I have wonderful memory about Santorini (including fell on donkey’s droppings as I walked down the steps to the harbour, late at night)

Great photo Chris! It kind of looks like an optical illusion, like the door leads to nowhere. Eating cliffside is one of the things I miss most about Santorini (oh, and fresh calamari!).
