Spice Bazaar, Istanbul

One of my favorite sites for taking pictures in Istanbul is the colorful Spice Bazaar. The Grand Bazaar has more drama as you try and navigate its corridors without buying a carpet but the spice bazaar, which opened in 1597, has a few less tourists and a few more things that I actually want to buy. It is still a very approachable place for English speaking tourists, but since the spices they are selling flavor the food you have been eating it may also have more meaningful souvenirs.
