Most cruise ship companies have their own private beaches these days like this one which is Half Moon Cay in Bermuda. This is the private beach of Holland America. The private beaches are clean safe and yes perhaps a bit sterile.

Thanks for the photo. Brings back memories. Islands like this are quite sterile (almost Disney-esque), but at the end of a cruise when you just want to relax and not be bothered, HMC and other islands like them can be just perfect.
