I am planning a trip to Spain, Portugal and possibly Morocco. In Spain we would visit Madrid, Barcelona, Andalucia, Seville and Valencia. In Portugal we plan to visit Lisbon but we are not sure which other cities we should visit. The visit to Morocco will hinge on the political situation at the time. We are not sure where else to go in Morocco. I will be travelling with my wife and our two kids (19 & 20) sometime in Dec 2011. We enjoy the outdoors, museums and good but not expensive food. We like to visit the places where many locals eat.We would like to travel by train most of the time but may rent a car if necessary. Our trip should be about 14-20 days. Thank you in advance for your advise.

Hi Chris,
First of all I wanted to say I’m really enjoying going through your podcast archive; I really enjoy both Amateur Traveler and This Week in Travel. It really livens up my days of data entry temping.
I wanted to post on this episode in particular because I thought you, and anyone else listening to this podcast, might be interested to know that National Harbor, MD (which is where they’re going to build the Sesame Street Museum) is not the same place as the Inner Harbor in Baltimore. The National Harbor is actually right across the Potomac from Alexandria, VA so it is only a few miles from DC. It is a fairly new place with a lot of things still in development. As a resident of DC, I haven’t yet made it there, but I want to go at least to see the cool and sort of creepy statue, The Awakening.
