Hungry Hippos - Chobe National Park, Botswana - Photo

Hippos grazing on the banks of the Chobe River. It’s rare to see hippos out of the water during the daytime. Usually they don’t come out until after dark. This tends to be a sign of limited food supply (ie. they can’t forage enough at night to meet their needs).
