Leg Rowers – Inle Lake, Myanmar – Photo

categories: asia travel

The Intha fishermen on Inle Lake are known as Leg Rowers. They use one leg to row the boat while balancing on the other. This frees their hands to hold and manipulate their fishing nets. It’s quite a sight on a cold and misty morning. – Michelle Lim

Absolutely stunning photo. The mist only adds to the mystique and moodiness. Thanks for this.
