Interesting the configuration of these sleeping cars. They all seem different. Thanks for sharing!



On the trip from Xian back to Shanghai, we did the next class up (soft sleeper vs. your hard sleeper), which was 4 people to a compartment plus air conditioning. It was really nice, except for when jerk(s) threw rocks at the passing train. The glass was not safety glass (cuts on my hands and knees), and we “lost” our air conditioning. The rail folks were very nice, and moved us to a different compartment, and moved some of the rail employees into our old one. We did make our way into the other compartments and saw what you filmed, except much newer and it looked like yours might have had AC.
