Matthias Becker is an underemployed academic from Germany with a great love for travel, architecture, and botanical gardens; he also loves photography, but photography does not love him back. In his travel planning he has a particular fondness for seemingly dull locations not usually associated with vacations which nevertheless offer at least 4-5 days of interesting sight-seeing.
