Podcasts

  • I am always looking for new content for the Amateur Traveler on new destinations. Consult my guide to pitch an episode.
  • I can create a white labeled podcast series for you on your destination or brand. You would own the content of the podcast. You can provide the topics or the guests and I will provide an interview host, creation, editing, consulting on promotion. You can get the benefit of the 1100+ podcast episodes that I have created. You own the content. – $1000 / episode with a minimum of 8 episodes
  • Sponsor episodes of the Amateur Traveler – 15 second pre-roll ad, 60 second mid-roll ad, placement in the show notes – $350, discounts for 6+ episodes. Every episode of the Amateur Traveler in 2017 had at least 10,000 downloads in the 1st  month. See April 2018 stats for how episodes continue to get listens over time. Contact me for more recent stats.
  • Sponsor the editing of the Amateur Traveler – 10 second mention at the end of an episode, placement in the show notes – $100, 6 episode minimum

FAM Trips

I do take a limited number of FAM trips for which I produce a podcast episode or post as appropriate complete with social media promotion.

I do not charge as a rule for participation but I do provide a series of additional content:

  • Provide a custom licenced edited version of a new or old podcast episode without the Amateur Traveler theme song, community news, etc. suitable for company promotion – $500
  • Provide licenced photos for use in company publications and advertising – $20 a photo sample photos from Viking River cruise to Portugal
  • Provide licenced 2 min video – $500 sample video
  • Hotel reviews for each property – $200 per review
  • On location episode of This Week in Travel – $500
  • Additional guaranteed blog posts – inquire

Hotel / Restaurant / Tour Reviews

I do occasionally review hotels, restaurants or day tours on the Amateur Traveler blog in exchange for a hotel stay, restaurant meal for 2 or tour. I do not as a rule charge any additional fee. All reviews are my honest evaluation.

Book / Gear Reviews

I do occasional book or gear reviews.

  • Most of the book reviews on the Amateur Traveler are done by members of the community in exchange for a book – example book reviews
