ance has been a special effects makeup artist for film and TV for the last 25 years (vancehartwell.com). His job has provided him the opportunity to fulfill his love of traveling all over the world, experience different cultures and learning different languages to varying degrees (along with adding new pages to his passport and filling it up!). He currently resides in California with his wife and kids, but has lived in a few different US states, Sweden and New Zealand.
