Travel to Tampa, Florida – Episode 305

The Amateur Traveler talks to Shannon Martin from Two Who Travel about her hometown of Tampa Bay (and St Petersburg) Florida.

Shannon recommends the Tamp Bay area for a beach vacation, possibly combined with a trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando. In addition to beaches, you can find museums dedicated to Dali and Chihuly, the Clearwater Jazz Holiday, and the dolphin from the recent movie Dolphin’s Tale.

“It is paradise. I grew up going more to the East Coast of Florida and didn’t really know this area as much. I came down hear once on a Spring Break and another time to visit cousins that moved to the area and just fell in love with the beauty of the area. If you are thinking about a beach vacation in Florida I would argue that this is probably one of the most beautify areas in Florida. Consistently beach experts rate the beaches as sometimes the top even in the world.”

So kick off your shoes, grab a Grouper sandwich and watch the sunset over a white sand beach.
