Sailing the Caribbean on the Windstar Star Breeze – Episode 764

Hear about travel to the Caribbean on the Windstar Star Breeze as the Amateur Traveler talks about small ships cruising to St Maarten, Barbados, St Lucia, and Antigua.

Windstar is known for their masted sailing yachts but half of their 6 ship fleet are small cruise ships, or yachts, like the Star Breeze. In 2021, all three of these ships were cut in half and stretched 84 feet to allow for more cabins on this all-suite ship. Each ship can now carry 312 guests and Chris Christensen from the Amateur Traveler was invited onboard one of the first cruises of these upgraded ships. 

Chris and Mrs. Amateur Traveler flew to St Maarten to board a cruise in the Caribbean. Covid changed the itinerary at the last minute to a cruise to islands in the Lesser Antilles. This episode talks about the 4 islands on the itinerary, shore excursions, life about the Windstar Star Breeze, and what it is like to travel in 2021.
