I visited Malta almost exactly a year ago and went to quite a number of sites you recommended. It is indeed a lovely destination with lots of history. I happened to be there during its annual Choral Music Festival (late Jan) and attended a few concerts in churches.
Because it was low season, I was able to get a good idea at a very nice hotel in Valletta. Beware that Valletta became very quiet at night. Depending on one’s preference, it could be a plus or a minus.
One more thing, it is definitely a Christian country but there is an Ottoman cemetery that is worth checking out. Unfortunately, the day I rode the bus there, the gate of the cemetery was locked.

With Apple Podcasts I am not getting chapters or photos, only audio. Without photos it is not the same experience listening to your podcast.

Rick, it’s not just you. I stopped doing photos a little while ago. The problem was fewer people were able to see them. Also they cost me thousands of dollars a year. Once you insert ads, the chapters go away. The other problem is I needed to actually sleep. With a full-time job, two weekly podcasts and two active blogs I was just always exhausted. Sorry.
